The Connectors feature lets you sync a Google Doc into Saner.ai, so it stays connected to its original source while remaining searchable and usable inside your workspace.

How to connect Google Docs

  • Open the connector via the drop-down arrow in the Add button on the top left corner of the app

  • Select Google Drive

  • Click Add Source

After you connect your Google account, Saner.ai will open a file picker showing all Google Docs in your Google Drive.

From this list:

  1. Select one or many Google Docs you want to sync

    1. You can select many files by clicking Shift while choosing the files

  2. Confirm your selection

Once connected, the document appears as a new item under: Connectors β†’ Google Drive

This item represents the synced source and can be managed independently inside Saner.ai.

What you can do with a connected document

Each connected document comes with the following actions:

  • Sync now
Manually pull the latest updates from the original Google Doc.

  • Edit name
Rename the document inside Saner.ai for better clarity (this does not change the original file name).

  • Edit settings
Adjust how the connector behaves and manages updates.

  • Remove source
Stop syncing this document if you no longer need the connection.

Opening the document

  • Click the connector name β†’ opens the note inside Saner.ai

  • Click the source name β†’ opens the original file in Google Docs

This makes it easy to move between your structured notes in Saner.ai and the original source document.
