Folders and Notes

The Folders section in the Knowledge System lets you organize, move, and manage all your folders and notes in one place.

To open it, click Knowledge in the left sidebar.

Folder Bar Options (Top Level)

At the top of the folder list, click the three-dot (⋯) menu on the right side of the folder bar to access these actions:

• Select all items in the current folder

• Change the order of folders and notes (by Name, Date modified, or Date created)

• Create a new folder

• Create a new note

• Export notes

These options help you quickly manage your folders

Folder Options

Each folder can contain notes and subfolders.

Click the three-dot (⋯) menu next to a folder name, then you will see options to:

• Open the folder

• Ask AI questions based on the folder’s content

• Create subfolders or notes

• Import files into the folder

• Export the folder’s contents

• Rename the folder

• Delete the folder

• Manage sharing and permissions (view, comment, or edit access)

This gives you full control over how each folder is organized and shared.

Note Options

Each note has multiple ways to view and manage it.

Click the three-dot (⋯) menu next to a note to:

• Open it in full-page view (focused work)

• Open it in a side panel via Saner.AI Chrome Extension (multitasking)

• Open it in a pop-up viewer

• Ask AI to analyze or summarize the note

• Find related or similar notes

• View metadata (creation date, tags)

• Move the note to another folder

• Rename or delete the note

• Export the note

• Share the note with specific access permissions

These options give you fine-grained control over every note.

Select and Manage Multiple Items

To select notes or folders:

1. Hover over a note or folder

2. Click the checkbox that appears on the left

With this, you can select multiple notes or folders at the same time

After selecting items, two buttons appear in the folder bar:

• Delete

• Relocate

Use these to quickly clean up or reorganize your knowledge base.

Drag and Drop Organization

You can also move items by dragging and dropping:

• Drag a note into a folder

• Drag a folder into another folder

This makes reorganizing fast and intuitive.
