What Skai can and can't do (yet)

1. Content Generation

Skai helps you generate structured, text-based content to support thinking, planning, and everyday work. It focuses on clarity, structure, and reasoning—not multimedia creation.

✅ What Skai Can Generate

Skai can create and edit the following content directly in chat or notes:

Text

• Paragraphs, explanations, reflections, and summaries

• Personal notes or journal-style entries

Lists

• Bullet points and numbered lists

• To-do lists and checklists

• Meeting notes and project summaries

Tables

• Simple structured tables

• Comparisons, planning tables, and outlines

Markdown Formatting

• Headings (#, ##, ###)

• Bold, italics, and block quotes

• Bullet lists and numbered lists

• Code blocks and inline code

Code

• Code snippets for common programming and scripting tasks

❌ What Skai Cannot Generate

Skai does not support creating or editing non-text or multimedia content.

This includes:

• Images
  Cannot generate, edit, or analyze images, illustrations, diagrams, or infographics.

• Audio
  Cannot record or generate voice, music, sound effects, or audio files.

• Video
  Cannot create, edit, or export videos, animations, reels, or motion graphics.

• Podcasts
  Cannot record, publish, or edit podcast episodes.

• Presentations
  Cannot create .pptx, Google Slides, or other presentation files.

• Folders
  Skai cannot create multiple folders via chat yet

2. Data Interaction & Analysis

Skai can analyze and reason over text-based information to help you understand, summarize, and connect ideas.

✅ Supported Data & Analysis

Skai can work with:

• Text content

  • Notes created in Saner.ai

  • Connected emails

  • PDF and DOCX files (text content only)

• Semantic understanding

  • Understands context across notes and files

  • Connects related ideas and references

  • Summarizes long or complex text

❌ Not Supported Analysis

Skai does not currently support direct analysis on:

• Spreadsheets

  • Excel (.xlsx) and CSV files

• Non-text files

  • Images, audio recordings, or video files

• File metadata

  • File size, file location, or system-level metadata

  • Metadata is only used if it appears explicitly in the text content

3. External Actions & Automation

Skai operates inside your Saner.ai workspace and does not perform actions on your behalf outside of it.

❌ What Skai Cannot Do

Skai cannot:

• Send emails or messages via third-party tools (e.g. Gmail, Slack)

• Browse websites, scrape data, or make online purchases

• Control local apps, system settings, or hardware on your device

• Move, delete, or modify local files automatically

Skai may suggest actions inside notes, but changes only happen when you explicitly apply them.
