You can use the Import feature to bring your Apple Notes into Saner.ai. Because Apple Notes doesn’t support direct Markdown export, this process happens in two stages: export your notes from Apple first, then import to Saner.AI

What you’ll need

  • A Mac

  • Your Apple Notes

  • A third-party export tool that supports Markdown (.md)

Step 1: Export your Apple Notes as Markdown

Apple Notes does not include a built-in way to export notes as Markdown files. To do this, you’ll need a third-party app.

We recommend using Exporter (available on the Mac App Store).

  1. Download and open the Exporter app (

    https://apps.apple.com/us/app/exporter/id1099120373)

  2. Select the Apple Notes you want to export

  3. Export them as Markdown (.md) files

  4. Save the files to your computer

Make sure the exported files use the .md format. Other formats are not supported for this import flow.

Step 2: Open the Import section in Saner.ai

  1. Open Saner.ai

  2. Click Add in the left sidebar

  3. Select Import

Optional:

  • Use Select folder to choose where the imported notes should be placed

Step 3: Upload and import your files

  1. Click Choose files or drag and drop your .md files into the upload area

  2. Confirm the upload

Saner.ai will process the files and import your notes into the selected folder. Once finished, your Apple Notes will appear as regular notes inside Saner.ai.

Notes & limitations

  • Only Markdown (.md) files are supported for this import

  • Large imports may take a short moment to process

  • Folder selection is optional but recommended for better organization
